Lowood & District Meals On Wheels
Description
25 Years Service
Since May 1987, Lowood and District Meals On Wheels has served aged, frail and needy residents of Lowood, Fernvale and the surrounding communities.
Healthy home-delivered meals and regular contact with our friendly volunteers help to maintain our clients independence and make their lives more sustainable and enjoyable.
Like To Volunteer?
Would you like to help? Our dedicated volunteers are fully trained and work in pairs on rosters that suit them, for as often or as little as they like. Meals are delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays from the CWA Hall.
Individuals and couples of all ages are welcome. You'll enjoy helping those in need, while making friends with like-minded, community-spirited volunteers.

This unique initiative is supported by Lowood & District Meals On Wheels to provide free internet exposure for organisations, businesses and services in Lowood.
This not-for-profit community service commenced in September 2008, and is the only one of its kind run by a Meals On Wheels service in Queensland.
