Lowood and District Meals On Wheels
Description
25 Years Service
Since May 1987, Lowood and District Meals On Wheels has served aged, frail and other needy residents of Lowood, Fernvale and surrounding communities.
Healthy home-delivered meals and regular contact with our friendly volunteers help to maintain our clients' independence and make their lives more sustainable and enjoyable.
Help Locals Help Locals.
Would you like to help? Volunteers work on rosters for about two hours a month. Meals are delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays from Lowood CWA Hall.
Individuals and couples of all ages are very welcome. You'll enjoy helping locals in need, while making friends with other community-spirited volunteers.

This unique initiative is supported by Lowood and District Meals On Wheels to provide free internet exposure for organisations, businesses and services in Lowood.
This not-for-profit community service commenced in September 2008, and is the only one of its kind run by a Meals On Wheels service in Queensland.
